What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a treatment that helps people to cope with psychological problems, to regulate their emotions and improve their quality of life through verbal communication and interaction. It can be helpful in different situations.

Some difficult life situations where psychotherapy can help are

  • Relationship problems
  • Recurring problems in the social environment or at work
  • Difficulty adapting to a new life situation
  • Search for a new meaning in life or new perspectives
  • Somatoform and psychosomatic disorders
  • Depression, anxiety, extreme concerns

Because each person is unique, I make sure that new therapeutic methods are continually added to my toolbox, expanding the treatment possibilities I can offer. The integral therapy offers elements of all psychology lines, like Carl Rogers' person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, psychoanalysis, analythical psychology, art therapy, mindfullness and tools of the transpersonal psychology.
